It’s Festival Season! We Found the Best of the Best that You Wont Want to Miss!

The temperature is slowly dropping, the leaves are changing colors, and the days are getting shorter.

One of the great things about Atlanta is that there is always something new to experience. Whether it’s a food festival, a music event, or a Halloween celebration, there’s something happening this fall that you’re bound to love.

Grab your pumpkin spice latte, we have found some of the best nearby festivals that are happening this month. You wont want to miss them!

The Edgewood Mac & Cheese Festival will return for the 2nd year in a row! Last year’s event hosted nearly 2,000 local mac & cheese lovers who enjoyed mac and cheese from several of the top restaurants in Atlanta. Best of all, this festival is for a GREAT cause! The 2016 festival raised $25,000 for the non-profit Neighbor in Need.

From the event website,

“The 2nd Annual Mac & Cheese Festival will be held at Walker Park, and is scheduled for October 7th, 2017! The annual tradition continues to promote the neighborhood as a thriving intown hub for urbanites migrating inward, and to raise money for Neighbor in Need, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to ensuring affordability for longtime residents of the Edgewood neighborhood. Edgewood still retains its old-town flavor and resonates with the sounds and sensations of an early Atlanta blue-collar rail district.

This will be the best Mac & Cheese Festival in the Southeast. The tasting event will showcase between 20 and 30 vendors from local restaurants, chefs, and caterers. The festival is open to restaurants, caterers, private chefs and food trucks.”
