YAY ~ It’s Patio Season in Atlanta!
One of our favorite things about our neighborhood are all of the food and drink options. Now that Spring is finally here (???), it’s time to put on the sun screen, grab your coolest shades and hit the Atlanta BeltLine.
Here are our recommendations for the best party patios within walking distance to Alexan on Krog:
Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall
The first outdoor-oriented bar and restaurant to open along the BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, at mile marker 9.25. An in-town home away from home for Atlanta’s adventure seekers, Ladybird offers elevated campfire cuisine for dinner, lunch, and weekend brunch, and focuses on sharable dishes that rotate based on local availability.
Two Urban Licks
Incredible wood-fired cuisine, live rotating rotisseries, unique 26 foot wine on tap barrel wall (the first in the country!), funky live blues, breathtaking downtown skyline views and the “wow” design centered around the floor to ceiling Todd Murphy painting lit by a gas lamp wall makes Two Urban Licks truly one of kind.
Barcelona Wine Bar
A warm and welcoming Spanish tapas bar serving small plates of food using the finest seasonal picks and unusual specialties from Spain and the Mediterranean.
The Beltline flows with slow joggers, handholding lovers, frustrated cyclists, dogs and kids running here and there. And at the Beetlecat oysterette, docked and open for business, you can hear the giddy laughter and practically taste the good things, the kind that filled hearts and made the night whole.
So, now that you have your weekend to do list, please enjoy safely and responsibly. And please share your IG and social media posts with us! #LiveAoK
