Labor Day in Atlanta!
It’s almost Labor Day and that means (hopefully) cooler temperatures are on their way and also some great Atlanta events that you wont want to miss!
Dragon Con in Atlanta is the nation’s leading multi-media and pop culture convention! Every Labor Day weekend, Dragon Con brings the latest in science fiction and fantasy gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film. This is a fun opportunity to dress as your favorite character, meet some of your favorite actors, and participate or watch the iconic Dragon Con parade!
Get your spot early for the parade on Saturday, September 2. It begins at 10:00am and is always a must see event!
Beetlecat restaurant is hosting a Labor Day cookout right down the street.

“WHEN: Labor Day, Monday, September 4, from 3 to 8 p.m. **Two entry times available when purchasing tickets at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.**
THE MENU: burgers, cheese fries, onion rings, deviled eggs, a salad bar and Johnny Tsunami spam burger sandwiches by executive chef Andrew Isabella, alongside $5 Terrapin beer and $5 surfside punch specials featuring Deep Eddy vodka.
TICKETS: $25 per person and include chef Isabella’s menu, two drink tickets, tax and gratuity. The good vibes will last all day long with tickets available for 3 p.m. arrival or 5 p.m. arrival.
Kick back above deck, down in the surf den or on either patio in your waterproof attire, while enjoying DJ beats and summer-inspired games like life-size Jenga.
