Grab your Lantern for the Atlanta Beltline Parade!
It is time for one of the most popular Beltline attractions! The Atlanta Beltline is hosting their annual Lantern Parade. This event attracts thousands of attendees where they line along the path of the Beltline and watch hundreds of people march with their lanterns along the Beltline. We will be hosting a pregame in the Clubroom on September 9th from 6 PM to 8 PM. We will be providing light snacks as wells as drinks so feel free to stop on by! The parade starts at 8:15 PM right at Irwin Street meets the Beltline and they go all the way down to Piedmont Park.
The Beltline has definitely been preparing by adding new artwork among the wall. Below are some photos and description:
This piece by Mike Wsol is called In Between. Located about a mile and half down from Alexan on Krog in front of Paris on Ponce. The three silo structure offers a bit more beauty when you climb all the way in! Stop in and go check it out!
Famous Atlanta artist Jeffry Loy has his new sculptural installation of flower forms that create his new piece titled “Oasis”. You can find this piece a short walk on the Beltline it is on the other side of Parish food.
Rising Atlanta artist Brandon Sadler has completed his new mural under the Virginia Avenue bridge.
